red clay ponderings

Hmmm… what shall I ponder on today?

The Alien, The Freeloader and the Playboy

Last night the Blue Donkeys’ carried on with their “in your face” efforts to undermine U.S. immigration laws by having illegal alien Benita Veliz speak at the Democratic National Convention.

With Sandra Fluke, the adult, female law student who wants you and me to pay for her birth control so that she can maintain her ‘lifestyle’ while not working, the Dems proved once more they prefer welfare over work.

With their star speaker, former president Mr. Impeached Willie Clinton, who defiled the Office of President and humiliated his wife, his daughter and every U.S. citizen with his lies and adulterous behavior, the Dems told us they place no more value on the office of Commander-in-Chief than that of the President of the Mickey Mouse Club. Or the Playboy Club…

I wonder what they’ll have tonight?

Rally For Valaria

Valaria Fenderson

A beautiful eleven year-old Atlanta girl needs your help. I don’t know Valaria personally, I just happened to see her story on 11Alive tonight. I was impressed with her attitude; admired her beauty and composure; and touched by her plight, her “Slice of Life” as my son would say. Valaria is battling Sickle-Cell Anemia and she needs a bone marrow transplant. As an only child, there are no siblings for possible donor matches.

Friday, September 7, 2012, 11Alive is teaming up with BE A MATCH, a National Donor Program, to find a marrow match for Valaria. Spelman College will be hosting Rally For Valaria from 10 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. at the Spelman Lower Manley Student Center and outside at the College’s monthly “Market Friday” event. Parking is available on the Spelman College deck, just inside the entrance gate.

The match test is simple and painless, a cotton swab brushed inside the mouth….I’m certain Valaria will appreciate your help.

Regards,

Danita
